WHAT HAPPENS TO
YOUR DETAILS.
Who holds this data
Mrunal Mathuria, an individual, acting alone. There is no organisation, no company and no political party behind this petition. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, I am the Data Fiduciary and you can reach me at mrunal.connect@gmail.com or on +91 99673 24164.
What is collected
- Your name, email address, mobile number and state, because you typed them into the form.
- The date and time you signed.
- Your IP address and browser identifier, kept only to stop automated signing and to keep the count honest.
Nothing else. No tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no analytics that follow you off this site.
Why
One purpose: to count your signature on this petition and to hand that count in. If you want, to write to you about the walk. Nothing else, ever. Your details will never be sold, rented, traded or shared with a political party, a candidate, a campaign or any commercial party.
What is published
The total only. Your name does not appear on this website, in any post, or in any press material. Nobody browsing this site can see who has signed.
What is handed in on 26 November
The petition is delivered by hand at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, on 26 November 2026, together with a letter to the Prime Minister. What is submitted is the total number of signatures and the state-by-state breakdown โ not the list of names, email addresses or mobile numbers.
How long it is kept
Until 31 March 2027, or until you ask for it to be deleted, whichever comes first. After that the records are erased. Nothing is archived.
Removing your signature
Email mrunal.connect@gmail.com from the address you signed with, or send a WhatsApp message from the number you signed with, and say you want to be removed. Your row is deleted and the total drops by one. No reason required, no questions asked, and it will be done within seven days.
Where it is stored, and how
In a database on this website's own hosting account. Access is limited to me, through a password-protected page. The site runs over HTTPS. Nothing is stored on a third-party petition platform.
If something goes wrong
If the data is ever breached, I will say so publicly on this website and notify everyone affected and the Data Protection Board, rather than quietly hoping nobody notices.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what data of yours I hold, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be erased, withdraw your consent at any time, and complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Write to me first and I will deal with it directly.
